scurrifunge* v [phonetics unavailable].. Cp EDD ~ v 'to lash tightly, coïre'; fung v 3 'to do anything briskly ... to work or walk hurriedly' Sc, Ki1kenny Lexicon scurryfunge 'to scrounge, cadge or wheedle.'
